It Cannot Be Said Better Than This

"We The People", as in the majority, gave Trump the leverage and "We The People" support what Trump is doing. You may not support what Trump is doing but you don't vote and therefore do not participate in "We The People". :)

We get the government we vote for and what we deserve, just like we did under the disastrous Obama and Biden Administrations.

You do know Trump did not get a majority, do you not? And according to polls only 39% support what Trump is doing. But you’re right about one thing, we’re getting the government we deserve.

FYI: That's about double the approval of the Democrats. But always remember that these polls invariably, and corruptly and intentionally , under poll Republicans.

I don't know of a single person who voted for Trump that regrets their vote. Frustrated? Maybe. But no regrets. This is a massive transition that will leave us in MUCH better place. In the meantime, put your big boy pants on, fasten your seatbelt and quit the incessant whining. There's so much good news lately but it simply takes time to really implement and feel it all.

So many companies are setting up shop here in the US that it's hard to get your head around it. 5 trillion dollars plus!!! For you TDS sufferers, you are incapable of getting your head around it.

That’s all well said. The problem is you voted for a man who said he’d make America great beginning on his first day. Now you’re accepting his whining that it takes time. I don’t think you’d be quite so patient with a Democrat under the same conditions. You can deny the accuracy of the polls if that makes you feel better. But they are what they are and if you think they are wildly exaggerated I think you are mistaken.

Oh, please let me add one thing. I don’t for one minute doubt your friends don’t regret voting for Trump. Their option was Harris and we both know things would be as bad or worse than what Trump has wrought. Had she won I doubt a single Harris voter would regret their choice. What drives me crazy is how willing people are to accept the status quo as if they can’t comprehend having better options. You pick a guy and no matter what he does you find a reason to support it. I don’t think that is the best way to deal with our politicians, especially the ones we voted for.

You're a passenger here in this country Dan, maybe a share cropper, at best a legal immigrant on a term visa but no participate / no whining.

Setting that aside since it has no bearing on the topic of the thread, what do you make of what is said in the video? Do you care to comment on that?

Trump won the most votes, but not the majority of them.

If you don't vote, you don't count.
My vote wouldn’t have been for President BooBoo so you should be glad I didn’t vote. His percentage would be lower if I had voted. BTW what do you think of my new nickname for him? I may shorten it to just BooBoo, it would be easier to write.

Here, Bearcat, try this one on for size. The headline would be: “BooBoo Shoots from The Hip And Misses … Again”.

What do you think? Would that trigger you and the rest of the MAGAs on the board?

It's certainly more in the line of the way your half-brain works for sure.

Let's just say that you just moved from 29th place to 32nd place in the race to wisdom.
Getting back to the original link, I‘d like to hear your rebuttal. He closes his remarks with a comment on negotiation. As a self-identified expert on the art of the deal I wonder how you would rate his plea.

I'll rate his performance: He's absolutely kicking ass in every single area that I wanted him to change. Way beyond my expectations. It's like a gift from God to the US. Truly Divine Intervention. There is nobody else who could, or had the balls, to do what he's doing.

The best thing that ever happened was him losing the 2020 election. He came back with a team of people who shared his views and principles. So much better than I could have hoped for.

He's at the peak of his power and is completely fearless. He's made the main stream media almost irrelevant. He's gutting the education industrial complex at all levels and giving the middle finger to the teachers union. He's stopping the Green Scam. DEI is DEAD. He's making NATO carry their own weight. About freaking time!

But most importantly, he's treating China exactly like they are...an existential threat and a bunch of evil crooks and thieves who mean us harm and take advantage of our good intentions. Those days are OVER!!!!!

There will be the inevitable mistakes and missteps along the way but that's the game...as always. And people will be uncomfortable as the size of this transition is significant and discomforting. Markets will likely correct and unemployment will rise in the short term as government spending winds down. Government spending accounted for something like 80% of all new jobs. That was unsustainable and extremely damaging long term as evidence by our massive debt. But great days are ahead.

I appreciate your reply. You are clearly a highly invested MAGA, but unlike other posters on this board you are confident enough in your belief you don’t need to disparage my differing opinion or character. Thank you for that.

I have some questions.

Many people believe, myself included, that upon the signing of the mineral deal with Ukraine the proxy war with Russia has now been handed over to Trump. It’s no longer Biden’s war, it is now owned by DJT. Trump told us repeatedly he would end that war in 24 hours and many people cast their vote for him based on that promise. Should they feel betrayed? Biden’s war largesse is/has come to a close. All new largesse will be from the hand of Donald Trump. Do you agree that from this point forward the proxy war is Trump’s war? Are you good with that?

Second, Trump has doubled down on America’s commitment to the mass slaughter in Gaza. So much so that he has offered American troops to be sent in to eliminate Hamas’s booby traps, thus putting the lives of American soldiers in jeopardy and protecting the lives of Israeli soldiers. It appears he thinks American lives are less worthy than Israeli lives. Does that sound to you like an appropriate action for an America First president?

Third, you are all in on Trump’s unilateral trade war with the rest of the world, particularly China, believing, contrary to the warnings of the overwhelming majority of economists, that prosperity will be right around the corner. How long do you anticipate the negative effects which we are currently experiencing will last before the big turnaround takes place? I have read that many Republicans who are facing very tight races in the upcoming election have told him he has until February to make good on his claims or they will have no choice but to turn on him if they want to keep their jobs. Do you think we’ll see the gravy train of tariff prosperity rolling down the tracks by February?

"Biden’s war largesse is/has come to a close."

[MAGA-DAN], statements like this are why nobody takes your political screed as anything but fairly good comedy at best.

To wit: You imply that after 4-years of Biden, et al ownership of world screw-ups & treason to America, that they are are now magically bestowed onto Trump after ~100 days??!!

I’m not implying anything. I’m flatly stating an opinion held by myself and many others that Trump betrayed his promise to the American people and has buried us deeper into a war he promised he would end quickly and easily. The next load of armaments being sent to Ukraine are Trump’s armaments. It’s his war now. Your screed against me is immaterial to the discussion.

[MAGA-DAN], remember the robot from 'Lost in Space'? "That does not compute, that does not compute!!!". This is you.
Nothing I wrote computed with his reply. There was not a scintilla of “we’re doomed” in what I wrote.

Good try attempting to shift the blame from Biden to Trump. That's a Hail Mary pass that fell incomplete. That war is, and always will be, Biden's war. When Trump says it would never have happened under him, he's absolutely correct. The democrats are always weak kneed obsequious fools when it comes to foreign policy. It's a mans world and this pussy foreign policy of the liberals just invites war and death.

No one is attempting to shift blame. It was Biden's war right up to the point Trump gave up trying to get a peace agreement and took control of American support for the war. He didn't walk away as most of us thought he would, he got his mineral deal and immediately resumed American participation. Like it or not it's his war now. I won't argue whether the war would have started if he were president. We'll never know what he would have done. But I am sure the war would have started if America would have pushed Russia to the brink the way it did under Biden, whether under President Trump or President Biden. Considering how Trump has stacked his foreign policy advisors with war hawk NeoCons, I have my doubts on his willingness to do what it would take to prevent the war. I'm a little taken aback at your calling Democrats weak kneed obsequious fools when it comes to foreign policy. Democrats are fools, that's for sure. But Biden's participation in starting the proxy war and his willingness to stand with Ukraine "to the last Ukrainian" does not strike me as particularly weak kneed. I wonder if you would explain what you think Trump would have done differently to prevent the war. Why do you think it has become so difficult for him to end the war? He thought he could do it quickly and easily, but that has not been the case. What are your thoughts on why it has turned so sour on him?

You are always quick to criticize but severely lacking when it comes to your own opinion on what should be done. Anyone can bitch, of which you are an expert, much harder to offer an opinion and face the scrutiny of such.

By all means let me give my opinion on what should be done: America should pack up its gear and leave.
