You know Az I already saw that picture but good try. Daton is still stringing along Cael until November and then boom, OSU bound. Just the week before he was at a OSU football game hanging out with all those friends wearing all that OSU gear. Not worried but thanks for posting over here, always welcome AZ.

We've offered he and Gfeller damn near a 100% ride each as a package deal per my ou loving source. John never/almost never offers this much. I know Gfeller already committed, but that's what he said and he's been right on most stuff.

It seems like he would be OSU bound, but I wouldn't under estimate the PSU prowess in recruiting. Nothing would surprise me too much other than Fix at a school other than one of these two.

I just joined this forum to spread some information. I have talked with Fix and Gfellar both multiple times at tournaments, practices, and other wrestling events. They are bestfriends and it is 100 percent fix is coming to stillwater. He also has a serious girlfriend that he wouldn't leave IMO. Dont worry fix will be in orange and black for his college career

just so he doesn't say that he "wants to be known as the face of Oklahoma wrestling" and then goes elsewhere.

I hope you are correct on this. Having these two in the same class with a chance at Chase Singletary would make for an awesome class. It would probably take too much scholarship money for all three, but that would be awesome!

I know he's listed as one of the guys that are announcing their commitments on the Flo special in November. I've wondered if maybe he's just waiting to announce to help sorta build up the anticipation for that.

I would think we would have enough money considering Marsteller left, the Bismarck kid left, and we lose Crutchmer, Boyd, Rogers and Collica after this year. I think we need Singletary at HWT in a couple of years. Those 3 would move us closer to Penn. St. in the future. At this point I do not think Anderson is our answer at HWT(he did not even place at Fargo this year abd did not win State. I am not saying he could not develop in time but it seems really questionable to me.

Fix is gonna be a Cowboy! I think it's just too sweet of a situation. We got us a log jam in the light weights. Super problem to have.

I totally agree about the lightweights. It will make us that much more tough. I predict Fix and Gfellar to both redshirt their first year. After their redshirt year I believe both will be in the starting lineup with Fix at 25 and Gfellar at 41. Fix will have to beat Piccinni and I believe he will do it. Gfellar will either have lewellen and moran but I also believe he will handle them pretty well especially when they get to working with our coaching staff. Excited for the future of this team !

I know Singletary is tall, but not sure he will be a heavyweight. John said if their waist size is under 34" they will not be a heavyweight. He is pretty thin. He would be one of those tweener guys. I thought he looked like he was 6'3" or 6'4". Singletary has no problem with shooting.

Yea... Just worried about Fix staying 25. He looks thick! Of course don't want he nor Brock being a back up! Picc maybe the odd man out. All great young men.

I agree with the redshirt's on Gfeller and Fix, but sorta think after their redshirt year it could end up being Fix, Pic, Brock, Martinez. For some reason I just think overall it's the best lineup, so that's what it'll end up being. Could be way off.

Does Weigel cut at all? Is there a chance he could go up similar to what Schafer's doing?

Not sure what Picc weighs, but he could be the one staying at 125. He looks big for a 125 pounder, but looks are deceiving. Lots of quality in the room at the lower weights.

Young ladies are doing it here in Northeast PA, at least in the farm country, and we have plenty of that. I was at my nieces high school graduation over the summer and there were several girls in shorts and boots. I suspect the trend doesn't stop at the PA-NY border.
