I have never understood the infatuation we seem to have over the Holiday clan. Tom was an abysmal pitching coach, and Josh has one CWS appearance in 11 years. We have perhaps the best facility in college baseball, and still find ways to lose to inferior programs with worse facilities, and lower paid coaches. I shouldn’t really care that much, but given our lousy football and basketball seasons, I was hoping our baseball team would exceed expectations, which they rarely seem to be able to do. Coach Ward’s program spoiled us for the past 35 years.
