It’s not listed on the schedule. I was hoping we’d send some backups. I’d like to see guys like McComas, Hughes, and Merrill against a step up in competition
PSU isn't on the schedule either but we are sending about 7-10 future starters and backups. The Mirasolas have confirmed. The RSFR get five free dates before second semester so why not, right?
I’m betting the guys we would’ve sent to the scuffle are the ones that went to Reno today so I’ll be surprised if we send anyone. Hopeful I’m wrong.
Anyone see Williams get pinned while losing 18-0 to Van Ness. Is there anyway to find the matches from Journeyman? I have rofkin but can’t find replays anywhere.
Williamns match should be available since it was live streamed free by Rofkin. Williamns had best first period. And ran out of gas immediately.
The score wasn't 18-0 Ness. That was the team score. Here is the play by play. OklahomaGlory is correct. Williams ran out of gas after 3+ minutes. Williams' length was an issue for Shayne in the first.

Van Ness immediately reaches for a leg, then backs out. Circling & tying up. Van Ness stalking forward. Williams on the edge now, then he circles back to center. Van Ness is in on a leg, Williams counters, tries a headlock, then switches to a leg. Van Ness is coming over the top & then he sprawls back & gets an ankle too. Then, they're back to their feet & circling in the center. William shoots, gets a leg, steps over it. He tries to limp arm out, but Van Ness counters. They're scrambling & Williams finishes off the TD, 3-0 out of bounds, restart. Great action there! Williams is really quick! Van Ness is down. Van Ness gets to his feet & gets the escape, 3-1. Little Rock is challenging the call. They're claiming Van Ness was using the foot illegally, or twisting the foot, but the call on the mat stands & it's a pin.

Pennstate1985, The scuffle is my favorite tournament and Mr. Earl and I have been several times however we will not be going this year. Heard rumors that we might send a few wrestlers including Hughes but nothing concrete. You better believe we would go if we sent a sizeable contingent as I have always felt this is the best run and most fan-friendly tournament. You can not beat the Vegas open for most competitive but I really like the atmosphere of the scuffle and will miss spending New Years in Chattanooga.

The breweries and bars aren't bad either, or have you forgotten those lol. You are right though. Nooga is a charming city and the arena has plenty of good viewing seats.
