I love to bag on both sides of the spectrum, as I think both sides are insane (at least the further left and the further right). However, I found this article interesting from a fiscal standpoint and population movement. I am interested to see if this trend continues into the 2030 census. There are other factors that I wonder in the short term if they are contributing (COVID-related remote learning rather than in-class setting, etc).

Everyone I have met that has moves in from out of state has moved because of their job moving here or for financial reasons. Several moved from California to Texas strictly because they could live a far better lifestyle here in Texas than they could in California.

I think your question regarding how the trends will go depends entirely on how much doubling down gets done. How many more people just this week will view this next go around of school closures as the last straw?

And on and on and on we’ll continue to go.
