Bingo. Now you beat me to it.This bust was at a Port of Entry, where everyone , Republicans and Dems say security needs to be upgraded,......this is exactly why the Dems say no to a wall, they want the money spent on things that they feel will actually help, not just keep a campaign promise

you don't catch the ones going through the gaps. Pretty simple.Obviously this proves nothing comes through gaps in our existing barrier. Obviously.
So how do you know they are there?you don't catch the ones going through the gaps. Pretty simple.
I am sure there are "gaps" where that could happen, and those need to be addressed, but a significant portion of the boarder it would not be possible to bring anything like that through without them using some type of technology which would negate a wall anyway........no one is actually saying no barriers, just that the money you would spend on a 2,0000 mile wall could be spent much more effectively

So where does the human trafficking come across?Yeah. Screw the human trafficking.
So where does the human trafficking come across?
You can't be serious. So where does the human trafficking come across?
You tell me. People trying to improve their lives are not trafficking. You can't be serious.

Didn't realize that carrying 254 pounds takes some kind of impressive technology. Seems that it would take about five to ten guys on foot.I am sure there are "gaps" where that could happen, and those need to be addressed, but a significant portion of the boarder it would not be possible to bring anything like that through without them using some type of technology which would negate a wall anyway........no one is actually saying no barriers, just that the money you would spend on a 2,0000 mile wall could be spent much more effectively
Uhhhhhhhh, you do realize that there are some less than saintly people that "help" people get to and cross the southern border illegally, right?People trying to improve their lives are not trafficking.
Yes.Uhhhhhhhh, you do realize that there are some less than saintly people that "help" people get to and cross the southern border illegally, right?
Those are called human traffickers. Shockingly, there aren't any points of entry that are designated for human traffickers.Yes.
You sure? Those are called human traffickers. Shockingly, there aren't any points of entry that are designated for human traffickers.
I’m with you man. I think a wall around Miami would work. It would definitely stop those Bahamian folks from getting in here with their coke. Good find boof.
Yeah, agreed. And if drugs can come in by boat, that means there shouldn't be any barriers on land. That's supertard level brilliance right there.I’m with you man. Unless the #resist Democrats installed some, yeah, I'm sure. Lemme guess, a retired CBP agent you had beers with told you they have a bunch of authorized points of entry for human traffickers to cross...You sure?
That does bring up an interesting point, though, wouldn’t you agree? When someone from Cuba builds a raft out of tires and floats across to Florida should the Coast Guard stop him two miles out and make them wait for proper clearance? What kind of wall should be erected to put a stop to him?Yeah, agreed. And if drugs can come in by boat, that means there shouldn't be any barriers on land. Mini-sub w/torpedoes would be a good start.
Dan, I like the intentionally obtuse angle you're bringing. We should build floating detention centers to house the folks from Cuba. We could have floating immigration courts too. That does bring up an interesting point, though, wouldn’t you agree? think preventing drug smuggling in space is going to be tricky though. That's definitely going to require lasers.
I’m not trying to be obtuse. I find it an interesting phenomenon. If we are going to build a wall over the land, but are going to accept refugees from the sea, what will prevent the human smugglers from taking refugees in boats a few miles from our shore, putting them in ramshackle rafts and setting them adrift?Dan, I like the intentionally obtuse angle you're bringing. As far as walls, you build one around the entire coast about 5 miles out. Build it from the ocean floor up to 100,000 feet in the air. That way we can prevent smuggling planes from entering too. I think preventing drug smuggling in space is going to be tricky though. That's definitely going to require lasers.
Yes you are. And you are doing a great job of it.I’m not trying to be obtuse.
Yeah, those inland oceans are definitely an issue in Arizona and New Mexico. Good point. There's what, at least eleventy threeve places where people can raft to along the southern border? And that Cozumel to Corpus Christie ramshackle raft trail, what can we do?I’m not trying to be obtuse. I find it an interesting phenomenon. If we can't secure our coasts like our land borders, why bother trying to secure the land borders? I like it. Good stuff.
Picture a human trafficker from Mexico that for years has developed processes and techniques for getting Hondurans and Guatemalans into the US from our southern border. He has made millions of dollars by plying his trade. Now the US has stepped up efforts to end his profession. What do you think he’ll do, just throw up his hands in despair and say “oh, well, it was a nice run while it lasted.” Or will he look for another method for transport? One avenue might be to have the caravans like we are seeing coming up through Mexico instead head to coastal cities to board boats that will take them up one of our coasts, put them inrafts a few miles out to sea and point them in the right direction. Arizona and New Mexico will no longer be the destination. Northern California or Oregon or Washington State will be. Those areas are already promising to be sanctuaries. Why wouldn’t a trafficker do that?Yeah, those inland oceans are definitely an issue in Arizona and New Mexico. Good point. There's what, at least eleventy threeve places where people can raft to along the southern border? And that Cozumel to Corpus Christie ramshackle raft trail, what can we do?
