I know I will be roasted, but I'm going to go ahead and admit that I will be OK with OU winning today. My first choice would be for them to lose and get destroyed, but if they win, it won't ruin my weekend.
The Big 12 has developed a rep for being KU and their mediocre entourage. If OU and KU both make the Final Four, the whole storyline changes. I would like to see the Big 12 be to college basketball what the SEC is to college football.
In addition, I don't hate the guys on this OU roster as much as I have hated OU players in the past. I certainly don't want them playing for the National Championship, but it they get to the Final Four, I think I will be OK with that.
Besides, even if they have a ton of success this season, it won't be long until HCBU is making Lon Kruger look woefully outclassed.
