If you want to learn *anything* about economics and especially how free market capitalism is best for human progress, start with Adam Smith’s *The Wealth of Nations.* It’s been at least 50 years since I read it but I don’t remember any words too big for you to read. If there are any you can probably figure them out syllable by syllable.
