I have a feeling he is not on the loop on the specifics. He seems like a person who wouldn’t take that stance if he had all the information. Very stupid stance. Can’t imagine that will be popular at all with Alabama fans.

In the letter he also wrote he didn't want to do away with the filibuster, but MSM won't report that. He has a right to his opinion, but don't think I would have picked the federal takeover of elections to voice it.

He doesn't care about the fans, as they'll turn on him as soon as he's not winning. So he's gonna spout whatever message he thinks his players and recruits want to hear, and given 90% of his players and recruits are AA, you have your answer. Saban doesn't make statements that aren't calculated to his benefit.
