Those liberal idiots that live in the urban areas of CA have no idea about anything. The people in the rest of the state are pretty normal for the most part.

CA has a disaster coming and it's not earth quakes. Their unfunded liabilities for their public sector workers retirement programs are so bad that no one will admit it in public the numbers are so big they'll blow your mind. Right now I would say it ranks as the biggest ponzi scheme in history and when it crashes it is going to be epic. Might not happen in my lifetime but it is bound to happen.

We'll never know for certain it will fail until it actually does. Of course, it'll likely be just like communism. No matter how many times it fails they'll say "well, that wasn't real communism."

I would normally agree with this, except that the Feds would step in to bail out California once this system imploded. Thus, we'd all end up paying for it, indirectly.

It will fail the next time there is a recession. It is a given. There is a human toll.
