And I’ve decided to step away from the board for a week, maybe two. I know the last few days have been really hard on you as you’ve watched the man to whom you’ve hitched your political fantasies betray your trust not once but twice. Then I’ve come along and rubbed your noses in your angst, and have enjoyed it immensely. But that has been unfair to you. You come on this board to lick each other’s balls and tell yourselves how smart you’ve been to choose a winner. It is mean of me to deny you the one place where you can convince yourselves you’re the smart ones. So I’ll step away and let you play out your fantasies. Who knows, when stupid authoritarian policies quit working they usually crumble pretty fast. The Trump/MAGA fantasy may implode by the time I come back. Let me leave you with this: I love you guys! You’re the first cult I’ve encountered in person, and it’s been a thrill to watch it in action.

I hear it's best for the rainbow people to take flying lessons before they visit Gaza. Then again maybe there are not that many tall buildings to be thrown off of now.
