Need HVAC help. Having a mini split heat pump installed in a new construction pool house. The original plan was for the outdoor condenser to go outside the east wall (obscured by the building from street view) and the inside unit on the south wall with all of the plumbing run through the wall.
HVAC guy told our builder that it would be better to put the condenser right outside of the indoor unit (south wall) because that would be better and it is a tight working area to make a turn to run the plumbing through the wall.
HVAC guy is suppose to call me tomorrow to explain this. Is this BS (his suggestion is just easier on him to install) or legit?
