It’s interesting that Willie doesn’t think Villasensor is an OSU lean necessarily, so am curious how much to read into guys transferring in to Stilly HS.

Fix was in his corner and he's moving to Stillwater 🤷. Rumors are Israel Borge will at Stillwater this year as well
Looked like Ignacio gave the pistols firing at the end of the Desmond match so that's a good sign😁. He was decked out in cowboy gear at big 12's too, I'd say he's ours to lose.
He definitely put up the pistols after that match.
He moved from Colorado to Stillwater for a reason.
I don’t disagree the perceived correlation which is why Willie’s quotes on the intermat board made me pose the question…
“I don’t think Villasensor is going to OKST. He’s definitely ‘open’”.

I just took what Willie said to mean Villasenor is not a guaranteed OSU lock just because he moved to Stillwater. DT and co. are still gonna have to build that relationship and earn his commitment just like they did Jax’s or anyone else.
Willie may certainly be correct, but if I'm another coach, I'm not putting on a full court press for a kid that transferred to Stillwater his senior year. Sure anything can happen, but transferring to Stillwater can be a self fulfilling prophecy. It drives away other coaches.
It definitely is a big investment and with the trajectory of OSU wrestling, probably only secures it more. Most wrestlers will take their visits and keep the door open to some degree, it only increases their value💰. They have all done it, including Lockett and Fix, the most orange cowboys in recent memory
I guess that could be true, but that means things changed.
Maybe dad/mom got a job opportunity in OKC or Tulsa if it’s not gonna be Stillwater? Would have Edmond North and Bixby as options?

Isaiah Jones was said to be going from Bixby to Stillwater but now that might not be happening either.

I don't sense that at all, but I do predict that Melvin has a better career than Bo. Let's revisit this thread in the old folks home in 20 years.
Melvin is real competition for Duke even today, so he is legit high end. I hope Cael is going after him even though I don't expect a happy ending so to speak.

Duke has absolutely showed how good he is going to be over the next 4-5 years in college. The adjustments he made after the first of three was incredible. The kid is going to be great. I really want to see him and Robideau in folkstyle. I think with DT and the coaching staff at OK State, Robideau will absolutely get better and him and Duke are going to have some really tough matches against each other in the coming years.
They won't be at the same weight is my guess. Duke one year at 157. Landon is a 157 for years . You will see Ladarion vs Duke a bunch at 165 for years .
