So the response by China by imposing other tariffs caused a loss in jobs and not in fact the original import tariffs. Sure seems like a rather large distinction.

Then what is the point? BTW....... Whether he sticks by it or not, he did say there would be no exemptions.........

Cynic in me says he is grasping at straws. Wants to do something, not willing to take or not getting good advice on what to do.

In China’s case they buy U.S. real estate assets, driving up the price of homes, and making it almost impossible for most millineials to put down an initial down payment. Are you ok with that? The Chinese make out like bandits selling Americans cheap shit and then use the $ to buy our precious real estate?

You would say “they are putting $ back into the economy! That’s wonderful!”
