I will say it appears to me the UK-Israel Parliamentary group comes across to me as somewhat the equivalent of AIPAC in America. The Fox report to which you linked has the leader of the organization talking about shedding tears over the atrocities of the Hamas invaders, which is perfectly understandable, but it does not report on his tears over the atrocities of the IDF against their own people during the same conflict. Based on that alone one can’t help but question the objectivity of the investigators. But I will attempt to read the report (Medic linked to it), and will say what I have to say about it after doing so.

Oh good grief. Not two paragraphs in this supposedly objective and thorough report says nearly 1200 people were murdered by Hamas and its allies. At least 400 of the 1200 were murdered - incinerated - by the IDF. If the report starts off with such an egregious error what else is in there? Also, I am unaware that anybody denied the attack and murders took place, least of all Hamas. I’ll try and slog through as much of this as I can, but I expect my eyes to glaze over fairly quickly.

Okay, I made it through the Report Overview, and I had a few thoughts. First it identifies an extremely coordinated and well planned attack from land, sea and air. Apparently there were about 7000 Palestinian attackers, far more than I had known about. And the attack was brutal, as we all were very aware. One thing that is questionable about the Overview is it repeatedly mentions bodies that were burned, some virtually cremated, and implies they were all burned by the attackers. Not one mention about the IDF utilizing the Hannibal Protocol, not one mention that many if not most of the burned bodies were burned by fire from the IDF. I admit I’ve only read 11 of the 315 pages, but don’t you think it’s a little weird the Overview makes no mention at all that many of the dead Israelis were killed by their own army?

I started reading the report itself, titled Sexual Violence in Conflict. Interestingly in the very first paragraph the report says the investigation was instigated at the request of the Israeli government since there were no UN agencies operating in Israel. It doesn’t say *why* there were no UN agencies, which it seems to me would be relevant, because to my knowledge the Israel government refused to cooperate.
