There were reports from many news outlets last summer about a possible 2025 recession. Our company even came up with a “ bridge plan” for 2024 to 2026. For someone think that recessions instantly happen is in itself idiotic.

To be clear: they do not instantly happen, but the combination of tariffs, massive federal employee layoffs, deportation and exclusion of necessary migrant workers, a falling stock market, and rising prices will ensure that it does over the next 2 quarters.
