I have a feeling we are in for some interesting economic and political times over the next 18 months or so. While Democrats have been boasting about the economy the last four years it's been all smoke, mirrors, government propping the economy up with massive irresponsible spending and falsified reporting. Democrats are fighting for their lives and will be even more desperate the next four years.

Awesome how lunch just walks up into the frame. I am thinking venison stew with the weather and all. Nothing like a hot meal when it snows.
My only neighbor killed a deer about a month ago and offered me a bag of venison but I turned it down as I have never liked it no matter how people cook it. The other day I was out doing some work on the property and he came out of his shop holding a pan of fresh cooked venison. He cooked the slices of backstrap on a burner in a cast iron skillet in his shop, battered and fried with sunflower oil, his grandma's recipe.
He offered me a piece and I was reluctant but it smelled and looked so good I gave it a try. Best damn venison I have ever eaten and I have never liked it before now. I didn't hesitate when he said grab another, I could have eaten the whole pan full.
My buds and I take the hearts wrap em up in foil with tomatoes and onions and simple "season all". Throw em in the coals and in 45 minutes or so slice em up, pack em in some flour tortillas with salsa and walla! Nothing like heart tacos drowned in salsa. Mm, mm good.
Venison is very heart healthy.
