4 year old great granddaughter has been approved for membership by the Choctaw Nation. Membership and ceremony will come in 2022. Grandson cannot participate. Choctaw members mother and maternal grandfather will be participants at the ceremony in Durant.
Great granddaughter will be issued a 2021 member COVID check for $700 when granddaughter receives her $1000 COVID check for 2021. COVID checks are scheduled to end after the 2022 checks are issued. The 2022 checks are again scheduled to be $1000 for parent member and $700 for child. G-granddaughter must wait till she becomes an official member before she gets free health care at a number of facilities in Oklahoma. G-granddaughter is now covered by GM health care plan.
