He's the aggregator of a "very particular" subset of citizen journalists would be more accurate.

I will give you credit. If someone goes to the trouble of definitively proving one of your "source"'s citations as full of crap, you at least disavow that particular post.
On the debit side, I usually see plenty of new citations to the same "source" after the disavowal of the single particular post.
