What does that leave us? Brietbart and the daily caller? The liberal take over of the media is like watching the clouds turn black in the evening right before tornadoes start popping up all over the state. Common sense can reject liberalism for only so long. Future generations will be raised with new normals.

Not fading very much in ratings. FNC dominated first quarter ratings. #1 cable network by a large margin. And in April viewership grew for the channel.

The best news outlet which actually shows news is One America News. Unfortunately, not too many networks carry it. Only ones I've found are Uverse and DirecTV.

Reuters TV online is good as well.

Those numbers are interesting. MSNBC ratings continue to improve. Some of that has to do with who is sitting in the White House right now though (just as Obama being in the White House helped Fox News).

I use to watch Fox News some, but I don't think their lineup changes have worked to their advantage. Really, Baier is about the only one worth watching after 6 now.

Maddow has clearly emerged as the favorite during prime time. I personally don't really care for her show though. Should be interesting to see what MSNBC does with O'Donnell. His contract hasn't been renewed yet, but he has good numbers. Williams is performing well though which is leading to speculation that NBC execs want to replace O'Donnell with him. I like both shows so I think MSNBC should try to keep O'Donnell somewhere.

I don't watch the news shows, but I do read both CNN and FoxNews websites. I avoid MSNBC, but not due to content, but rather the fact that all their stories are now streamed video. I'd rather read a 1000 word story then watch a 4 or 5 minute video of the same story.

I enjoy Maddow. Definitely dramatizing the news, but a good sense of humor. That and have always had a forbidden fruit thing... Going back to Melissa Ethridges first performance on Letterman in the '80s.

Those are two fvcked up opinions. Her delivery and sense of humor is so smug and annoying.

Fox was at the top before Obama became POTUS.

I bet a lot of networks would love to fade away like Fox News Channel. Fox News finished April as the most watched cable network.
* Among total day viewers, Fox News finished #1 for the 10th consecutive month.
* During prime time, Fox News finished #1 for the third straight month. Averaging 30% more viewers than TNT, which finished in 2nd, even though they had NBA playoffs.
* Fox News beat both CNN and MSNBC in April. That marked the 184th straight month of beating both other cable news networks.
* Fox News grew year-over-year. April 2017 saw the network grow 36% compared to April 2016.

Yep, but Obama in the White House helped their ratings during those years.
January 2017 marked Fox News 15th straight year of being the most watched news channel. Not saying Obama didn't help their viewership (he did an awesome thing for gun sales too!), but they were on top before he ever sniffed the Oval Office.
