1. Home field advantage matters on the college level - a lot. I hope we get a chance to host a playoff game in my lifetime. (I’m sounding like Boone).
2. At least this year, there probably needs to be an 8-team playoff because 9-12 don’t appear to be championship quality teams (so far). SMU and Indiana were not worthy of being in the playoffs.
I might change this post if Clemson or Tennessee do anything, but I’m betting Texas and Ohio St. will dominate the way ND and Penn St. did.
