Fiorina's "Face" answer

Poor Hill-Rod.

Look man, Biden is not the answer. I'm telling you this of your own good. If you believe an ounce of what you sell, how in the blue hell is Sanders not your man?

Poll numbers are a fact. Non-conservatives frequently accept and incorporate facts into their thinking, even if they don't like them.

Shhhhhhhhhh...... really, they don't like it in evangelical central, i.e. Tulsa, so that means other states don't like it, either.

Yes, because none of us rubes know anyone beyond the city limits or state border. Man I really look up to your urbane, sophisticated mastery of cultural trends. Just working with what I got, ya know?

If you believe an ounce of what you sell, how in the blue hell is Sanders not your man?
I have never seen anything from CUP or sys that would indicate they would prefer a progressive/socialist over a mainline Dem.

There isn't a dime's worth of differecne between Bernie and Obama, despite his erratic blustering. Check Bernie's voting record; he's just more open about being a socialist.

Hillary is electable. Sanders may not be.

Simple as pie.

Underrated question. @CowboyUp ? What do the talking points say you need to think about this?
Look, the idea behind Planned Parenthood is PLANNING a family.

Family Planning should be a top shelf priority in America. If pregnancies were better planned there would be millions fewer abortions. But GOP throws out that possibility because of their hatred of abortion and Roe v Wade.

This is not complicated. But GOP will sensationalize instead of solve.

BTW Carson used stem cells from aborted fetuses. Unless Roe is overturned there will be tissue. Why should it not be used for medical research. Ask Carson. Meantime GOP fights against family planning services in great demand by poor and middle class women. It's a major reason they continue to lose national elections.

Did not answer my question.

This is only true if you incorrectly read Obama's neoliberalism as socialist. Was Obamatrade socialist? Geitner for TreasSec? Jack Lew? Healthcare reform that was a give away to insurance companies? To big to prosecute? There are big differences between Obama and Bernie.

Some of that was payback. And Geithrner's biggest act was to bail out the GM union at the expense of everyone else and engineer a deal in which the GM Newcorp maintained its tax losses from the previous GMC, allwhilst the U.S. taxpayer lost $10B+. As I said, Bernie is a lot more honest and open. Obama was a lot more focused on getting elected.

Can we just stipulate Biden's not running? He's NOT! NFW

BTW in a general matchup Hillary leads Trump 53-40. Biden leads trump 56-38.

Among Latinos:
  • Biden 50%, Rubio 42%
  • Biden 50%, Bush 42%
  • Biden 54%, Cruz 39%
Compared to Clinton:

  • Clinton 50%, Rubio 44%
  • Clinton 49%, Bush 45%
  • Clinton 52%, Cruz 41%
The poll of hypothetical match-ups for 2016 was conducted Aug. 26 to Sept. 9 of 1,115 registered voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percentage points. The second match up polled 432 registered Latino voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 6.2 percentage points.

You don't know what you're talking about.

According to Dr. Paul Kinger who has done extensive research this is what the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger had to say. In a December 10, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble of the Eugenics Society, in the context of discussing the Negro Project, Sanger wrote: “We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out the idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

The Planned Parenthood founder unequivocally preached a creed of “race improvement,” which meant refining the gene pool and controlling and limiting the reproduction of human beings whom she thought weakened the human race. She clearly saw “Negroes” as among those members of the human race whose reproduction she wanted to control.

Real noble organization.

OMG

sigh....

You know headhunter that game you play is a kabookie. You do realize there are Old Testament punishments that aren't all that noble either? Do you throw out the whole Bible?

People evolve. People die. Institutions evolve.

Hopefully for the better.

Our interpretation of the Bible has evolved. Planned parenthood is not a facade for practicing eugenics. Why don't you study a little evolution? It might do your brain some good and your knuckles wouldn't get so beat up dragging the pavement...

PP is selling baby parts for profit. That is a fact. It is illegal but no one on the left cares or will do anything about it.

I don't want one nickel of my taxes going to PP. If they are such a great and noble institution then donors should be lined up to give them all the money they need.

Yes, if PP is so popular, they should have no problem scraping together more donations from all their noble supporters.

I'm for teaching contraception at public schools with taxpayer funding.

Fewer abortions.

Wait a minute....so polls matter again? I am so confused!

Plus...i realize you are supposed to be a research assistant (or something like that...if true, you need to have a better understanding of data, its value, and validity), but polls comparing a republican candidate vs a democrat or any other party is useless at this point. There are so many variables involved that it is only for headlines at this point. Stick to your hillary can do no wrong schtick. It is terrible (all candidates have their deficiencies), but it is your best game.

Pure dumbass conservative logic, right there. By that logic, we shouldn't do business with the English, Germans, French, Japanese, Russians, Mexicans, we should disband the U.S. Presidency, Senate, House, SCOTUS, every corporation over 60 years old, all southern states, half our churches... they'll literally float any argument, no matter how dumb. The end always justifies the means with these wingnuts.

If there arguments weren't so consistently boorish and clumsy, sensible people would listen to their points more. When they have a point, they fvck it up by chasing it with 5 stupid, dishonest arguments. What reasonable person wouldn't think they're picking on pp when they think a 76 year old is relevant to the contemporary issues?

those poll numbers, absent some real big event or revelation, will probably be a lot more accurate even after a campaign than you think. Battleground states may or may not move more, but the overall polls won't be as flexible as you think from now to next November. I think there's only about 10% of the voters that aren't more or less locked in already if given those choices.
Case in point -- if given those choices today and on election day, I don't think anybody on this board changes their mind.

I think we should pay young women after they've had their first period to have a merana or something of the like. It also should not require parent consent. This would prevent unwanted pregnancies and reduce abortions. I suspect we would save money in the long run. Over time, with fewer kids born in poverty to single mothers, we will be better as a society.

Who could be against this plan?

I fall into a larger category than many GOPers and Dem's are comfortable with. Depending on the candidate, my vote would change. Though i vehemently disagree with Carly on PP, at this point, i would vote for her over any democrat. Same with Carson/kasich. If trump wins the nomination, i would look at democrat (not hillary) or third party. There are a lot of "ifs" at this time. It helps and it hurts the GOP to have so many candidates. It hurts in that they all have to go overtime to get their message out there. It helps in that there is a major variety of views that republicans can choose from which gives them a great shot at winning. Several candidates are actuall electable (for the first time in a long time) and many would make fantastic VP candidates.

The democrats are putting out essentially retreads. I like sanders. I believe him, which is something i cannot say for any other dem candidate or potential candidate that i am aware of. This GOP round has so many similarities to obama's first run and the democratic nomination.

IMO, squeak, it begins and ends with education. Sex ed and all of that is completely deficient. In many states (predominantly the bible belt) contraceptives cannot be discussed. John Oliver has a great episode discussing that.

Would GOPers support PP being very proactive in contraception (IUDs and other more effective contraceptives)? Or does that go against religious belief? I realize there is a level of contraceptive involvement, and would love to be educated more if i am missing a alot of information(seriously).

I would vote for Bernie if I didn't disagree with him on most issues. I do agree with him that the rich have too much power and wealth gap is out of control. I just am afraid that in most of his supporters minds I'm rich, not middle class.

Abortion for me isn't a religious thing. Seeing my 12 week old in the womb just changed me.

I agree with what you've said about education.

I tend to take a back seat when it comes to abortion. That is an unwinnable battle. In each direction kids/fetuses lose. Adults (generally) are the ultimate failures.
