KD is super close with NC State/Macch. I thought NC State really had a chance at Duke.
Nothing against NC st but PJ is a special talent and he needs to be with the best coaches. When you've a kid so talented you don't want to look back and say man we shouldve done this. You just send him to the place thats producing the best results currently. And thats exactly why PJ is at Penn st. He would've been at Lehigh otherwise
Rey and PJ are tight as well. Lehigh is where he does his RTC training now. He doesn't go to Penn st often it's another 90 min away.

I remember the rumor during the infamous "DT got one" (which I backed up as credible and I apologize and stand by the fact that poster is very credible) was Dake was going to Stillwater (super believable at the time) and bringing his favorite club student (PJ Duke) with him and you shut it down and said I think some wires are getting crossed here

PJ has been wrestling mainly against high school kids preparing for the national team. You could put him on a Girl Scout team and he would thrive.
PJ was at Lehigh RTC quite a bit as well. And Jayden who's his main HS partner isn't your typical HS kid.. In folkstyle he doesn't turn people and I bet before he's done in college he will be really good on top.
Imagine Max Brignola a ton who was 100% an AA level guy at 165 last year.
Watched him in HS a bunch always was a fan of his . Great technician
Well, whether he is wrestling at PSU, NC State, or Lehigh, he will be a success. He’s less dependent on the system than 99% of the wrestlers.
He will be at Penn st for sure. Lehigh is closer to home and they still allow him in the room. Lehigh is the only school I remember hearing that said you can still train here even though you didn't commit to us. Usually that door shuts once you commit. Exactly why Blaze waited so long he didn't want to mess up his RTC training situation at Ohio st

I have no idea about odds of any of it. I tend to think of the negative and hope for the positive. Probably should have kept to myself so no one else thinking those negative possibilities.🤣
