won't be able to update continuously today, but Battenfield is getting the start today instead of you know who. I thought they would give Nurdin a couple more starts. Probably some more surprises coming. Battenfield gives up a 2 out walk but gets the next batter to fly out. Illinois is 9-2 and did beat WV 2-1. Played a lot of 1 run low scoring games so must have some pitching. probably have a 15-14 game today! Made it to Omaha last year...for the Big 10 tourney and were 32-21 last year. Their starter today was the B10's best pitcher last year... junior LHP, but he's only pitched one game this year. Cowboys go in order in the T1. 2 ground outs and a strikeout.
