I think Trump wins and wins big, my reasons are manifold but here are a few.

  • I voted early (Claremore) and every single person around me and mostly under their breaths had no love for the current idiot VP. Yes its Oklahoma and rural Oklahoma but the line I was in was the longest had ever seen and took approximately 2 hours from entering to exiting after voting.
  • My theory about early voting is that the vast increases you see are pissed off people who normally wouldn’t vote early but for the disgust they hold for the current administration. When I taught school if everything was going well you hardly had any parent complaints or conferences. But if things were going bad you would be swamped with meetings, some of the meetings were parents whose kids hadn’t done anything wrong but parents who wanted to make sure their kids would be insulated from the things that were going wrong. This is why I think early voting is much more prevalent now then in 2020. People are pissed and pissed off people aren’t voting to keep status quo.
  • Getting rid of the idiot RNC head and Romney niece will pay dividends in the swing states and with previously inactive voters. I think the RNC ground game picked up exponentially due to the new RNC leaders’ efforts.
  • Trumps peeling off of the minority voters is going to be a huge plus for the end voting counts.
  • The idiot VP’s campaign was an unmitigated disaster and the old politicians, Hollywood types, entertainment people and the all in efforts of the media have been repulsive and didn’t move the needle at all. Anyone who can look at voters and honestly say Trump is a bigger threat then inflation, crime, illegals, the transgender nonsense, feeding your family and so much more is an imbecile and won’t be taken seriously.
  • Saw a story about when any administrations has only 25% of the citizenry (its currently at 28% which is statistically the same) approving of the direction of America that administration LOSES the election.
  • I believe Trump voters are still undercounted, don’t care what the media says.
  • The media has lied, lied and lied more to promote, protect and puff this idiot VP up and I believe there is a reverse correlation to their efforts and people buying their crap. No idea how many voters this has changed but my thought is it’s a lot.
  • In 2020 Biden got away with campaigning from the basement, the idiot VP tried to hide behind the skirts of favorable media and entertainment outlets, but it didn’t work and as soon as she got into the “real” public view she flunked.
  • Think the R's hold the house and get a 2 -3 seat advantage in the senate. They had better do something with it this time.

I’m not going to guess if Trump wins the popular vote or even his EC count, but I feel very confident that he wins. I would love to see him win the popular vote and become president to boot but have a hard time seeing him win the popular vote, especially with the cheating that is going to happen. Good luck tomorrow all and hopefully Wednesday morning we’ll wake up and hear “Welcome president elect Donald J. Trump.”

1) Well thought out post.
2) I have not seen the word "manifold" used in this context. You learn something everyday.
3) I agree, people are pissed. Many are tired of being called "garbage, fascistic, Hitler-loving Nazi's". The economy is a mess and we're on the brink of a nuclear war. Motivated voters turn out and get others to turn out.
On the other side, are they voting for Kamala or against Trump? Do people who are voting against something have the same level of motivation?
4) On the point about not being able to reach Trump voters, NYT/Sienna has Trump winning the EC and being very close in the popular vote, and here's their commentary about reaching Trump voters:

5) Many, if not most, polls have Trump either leading or within the MOE on national polls. We all know national polls don't mean anything, but they may tell a story here.
The Left always wins the popular vote by racking up huge numbers from East and West Coast population centers (CA and NY). If Trump is up nationally that means the numbers in flyover country are so big that they're not seeing this occur in recent polling.
That's a turnout nightmare for the dems.
6) I live in red Frederick County VA and we're seeing similar massive lines to early vote. I went the first day and it was pretty chill, but it's been picking up as the election gets closer.

Lastly, the cheating hasn't been fixed but the response from the Lara Trump led RNC is totally different this cycle. They're catching things in real time and filing lawsuits.

But I agree with @GhostOfMatchesMalone - the EV surge from Republicans has broken their red mirage plans. They now have to win election day, and in some states bigly. That means the machines will need to fractionally count and even flip votes as they are selected, which we've seen 2-3 examples of already.

Trump will need to win by 10-15% IMO to overcome this steal (which is nearly impossible). They know they're hosed if he takes office with this transition team and Congress supporting him. I think a fair election is a 320 EC landslide.

I can present no plausible argument.

My hope is that the strong EV numbers from most states isn’t a cannibilization of Election Day voting numbers but additive.

I believe why Reps have a much better chance of winning tomorrow than 2020 is as follows:

1. Reps much more involved to prevent voter fraud.

2. Reps getting excited to do mail in voting. From what I have seen, these votes are not totally cannibalizing normal Rep election day voting. Reps worked hard to create a ground game, get new registrations, and voters that normally don't vote, to vote. I am personally shocked how well Reps have taken to mail in voting.

3. Those that are truly unbiased voters, who only care if their life is better now than 4 years ago? They have the greatest grievances to express when they vote. Harris / Biden created this mess, they have a POOR record to defend.

4. Unreal what Trump has done in reaching black, hispanic/latino, asian, muslim, and jewish men. Many women as well.

5. Dims ran a divisive and hate filled campaign, targeting african american men, asking women to lie to their husbands, the fascist and hitler claims, calling Reps garbage, calling Rep women stupid, etc.. I don't understand how you run a campaign by enticing more people to vote for you by insulting voters.

6. Kamala flip flops in her policies, what little she says, and she is hiding from America what she wants to do on key issues. That is huge warning sign to anyone with a brain. But we know Libs count on stupid voters.

Common sense says this election should be a Trump landslide. MSM is the scourge of this country.

What to keep an eye on, left field prediction: If Kamala is losing in state's like Wisconsin, PA, or Nevada, expect Dims to plant illegal ballots that are for Trump to invalidate Trump winning in certain states. They will plant "evidence" and also "discover it". They will use that to create rioting in the streets and total disruption to the election. They did a false flag already on Jan 6th.

I think Papa expressed my concerns. The early turnout numbers are great but not unless they are matched with the same turn out as what we've seen in the past on election day. I also fear that social media has made everyone completely tone deaf to how the rest of the country thinks. If you are pro Trump then you are going to see more pro Trump, Harris bad stuff and vice versa. So we kind of just go through this thing thinking that your side is definitely going to win. Sadly I think it's going to end up being a Harris victory because women are dumb and believe that Harris gives two $hits about abortion and will pass a law making it legal to kill a baby, which sadly is something that some women want. If Harris or the D's really cared about abortion maybe they could have passed a law when they controlled the WH, Senate and House under Johnson, Clinton, Carter or Obama.

We are actually considerably better off than four years ago, but that's mainly because Biden's handlers couldn't get through any legislation regarding wealth taxes and treating realized LT cap gains and dividends as ordinary income, as well as massive tax hikes on corporations. That is going to be disastrous for the markets.

we the people have won

But I thought Monica switched to republican?

Don't forget TPUSU. There has been a massive push to get the low propensity voter, and there is still meat left on the bone there. Republicans have just tapped into what dems have tapped into over the last decade+. The dems don't have much new to being to the table besides illegal, but they have made massive inroads. If Republicans can keep illegals off the roles, and rinos out of leadership there is a good chance of a decade or more or republican control of government, and it's needed to set the country right.

I'm not as optimistic until I see it though. If this goes well for Republicans I have promised my wife, who is Republican, I would come on board. If not I want nothing to do with rino club med.

The key tomorrow is: can people over come their dislike of DJT? I think many of the on-the-fence voters believe he'll do a better job but just can't stomach him. We'll soon find out if the polls in favor of Republicans are "hopeful" polls and legit. I truly do not know. But, in 2020 Trump drew big crowds while Biden stayed home and Trump still lost...so appearances aren't always correct.

Trump handily won the election 4 years ago. Then 5 states said, "oh wait." Biden won the election after 5 states counted until they arrived at a needed number.
