Based on the tone of that, the sender had swallowed the narrative that Trump supporters are somewhere between dangerous and domestic terrorists.
I’d be willing to bet the sender was a female who gave her team the day off after Election Day to grieve in a safe place
If this is true whoever gave those orders should be fired immediately and if possible prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, including whoever their supervisors and their supervisors were. This is not just some rouge leftist POS who did this, it's a culture within the department.
