Such a scumbag......maybe the company should add another phrase on their warning. “If you’re a litigious POS don’t use the bands when your BAC is .200 or greater.”
I remember when Dingy Harry was injured, but I did not follow the case. By reading the article, it seems he tossed the product into the trash, then some time later, he and the lawyers sat around and probably Googled-guessed who the manufacturer was. They got it wrong. Good on the jury.
Harry was simply trying to increase his worth the same way he became a multimillionaire while in Congress.

I used some bands once when I broke my right hand. Was doing bent over reverse flies with the handle looped over the cast and my foot on the middle of the band on the floor.
Band slipped out from under my foot and came up smacking the shit out of my chest, leaving a deep red, straight line welp perfectly parallel with the floor.
I didn't sue. I acknowledged "play stupid games, win stupid prizes."
I continued the exercise after the occurrence, just much more carefully.
My first thought was how did he rack up $238k in medical bills. Didn’t he have his congressional medical insurance. I’m pretty sure they have voted to keep after leaving job as part of “pension”.
Most of that $238K was probably the psychiatric consultation which confirmed he is a scumbag dumbass.
