There was really no need to interview Ford, they had her testimony to the Committee as well as her testimony to the media, etc... IF they could have found one person to corroborate her story or single piece of hard evidence then perhaps they interview Ford again and certainly other people to determine the credibility of this corroborative witness or evidence.

FBI could careless how many tears and how passionately she could tell her story, without any corroborating evidence, testimony, or witnesses, really nothing to talk to Ford about.

People repeating what Ford told them, that is hearsay. Those witnesses were not a witness to anything, all hearsay. They went to the people and the names of the people who were at the alleged party or attended the alleged party based on her sworn testimony, you know potential real witnesses that could corroborate a crime.

Here is the smoking gun for Ford or Kavanaugh. Back then, it would have been much harder to get a ride home, no instant calling or texting friends like today, or Uber, etc...

She had to have gotten a ride home by someone at the alleged party. Or someone who had to go way out of their way to get her, most likely not an adult.
