I learned a lesson from the 2024 election and its aftermath. My perspective has changed somewhat.
Perhaps if you took the time to have a reasonable discussion with me instead of constant ad hominem attacks, you might realize this and be pleasantly surprised.
Your perspective has changed, somewhat? Is that code for saying you were wrong in blindly supporting Democrat's actions over the last almost 10 years? We all remember exactly what your positions were and how you defended Democrat's actions.
I would welcome reasonable discussions but you will have to excuse me for remembering how unreasonable and unwavering you were in the past.
I was wrong in blindly supporting the Democratic establishment for so long. I was wrong in taking marching orders from the establishment elite in the Democratic Party. I now question what their real intentions are. I'm wondering if they are actually working with the establishment elite of the Republican Party to continue to maintain power, divide Americans, and protect the interests of the elite and oligarchs.
I believe this problem exists in both major parties.
And I remember how unreasonable and unwavering you were in full support of all actions by the Republican Party. It appears you are still the same way, blindly supporting the Republican Party and Trump.
If this has changed, let me know. If you too can recognize that the elites in both parties are playing a game here, we will definitely have something in common. But if all you want to do is blame Democrats while acting like Republicans (including Trump) are perfect, we will continue to disagree.

You seem to forget, I have long said both Democrat and Republican establishments are the problem. They are all corrupt and have been for sometime. The light bulb went off for me during the Reagan Administration, glad you are finally coming around. I only support Republicans because Democrats are IMO worse. As far as I'm concerned we should tar and feather the 535 in Congress, their aides and the lobbyist, then send them back home in disgrace. Congress is the problem IMO. They refuse to do their job, instead play politics.
As to supporting Trump, yes I do but not for the reasons you think. He is not an establishment politician owned by either side and he pisses them both off. IMO that is worth supporting if we truly believe in We The People. I also supported Trump due to the fact I saw through all the Democrat BS and was absolutely against their abuse of power and their lawfare, something you didn't. Democrats created Trump's support as witnessed by the 2024 election.
Trump is like a bull in a China closet and whether you like him, his policies or not he is changing Washington. That is worth supporting.

I disagree with this. Trump is very much part of the ruling elite, but he acts like he isn't. That is his ploy, his game. I'm seriously starting to think that part of (I hope not all, but who knows) the Democratic ruling elite either wanted, went along with, or agreed to another Trump term. The Republican establishment and party elite are fully behind Trump.
Trump protects the ruling elites. His rich friends and oligarchs greatly benefit under him. He divides the American people better than any politician before him, which of course, helps the ruling elites maintain their power. And Trump is expanding the power of the executive branch more than any previous President before him. Trump is building upon what previous Presidents have done in this regard.
Trump is very much part of the ruling elite and he serves their purposes very well.
And what about all of Trump's BS? What about Trump's abuse of power? Are you now going to sit back and defend it?
Again, it isn't just the Democrats Bearcat. This is what you need to wake up to. Trump and the Republican establishment are part of all this too, they too are protecting and furthering the interests of the ruling elites and oligarchs. Trump himself is an oligarch.
