The JV Team has apparently been vanquished!

No word on how many people unnecessarily died to retake the city.

Any word on how many have died as a result of invading Iraq? That doesn't count though since that mission was accomplished. Thank you, neocons.

That number is available. I was referring to the number of people who have died since President Obama formed ISIS.

Yes, thank gawd all of those Democrats voted against the Iraq Resolution. Otherwise they might get blamed as well.

And thank you Obama for not listening to the advice of those who actually know military shit and putting personal legacy and politics above all else in removing all US troops from Iraq. Brilliant strategy.

And thank you Obama and Hillary for supporting the "opposition" in Libya and Syria. Those weapons have been put to good use.

And thank you Obama for not having any boots "on the ground" fighting ICE-ill. Boots don't do much unless worn by all of the soldiers you keep quietly sending to "advise and assist" the Iraqis.

Are you calling Hillary a neocon?

She damned sure was during the lead up to the invasion, at least as foreign policy goes. And you know why? Political expediency. I haven't forgotten it, either. Know who wasn't? Obama. We're a lot less involved in that morass than we were before he came along, too.

In the other hand, we had about 95% of conservatives pushing the invasion. Care to inventory all the consequences of that foreign policy? Let's start with American lives and injuries, then money, then other foreign policy challenges as a result. But hey -- we don't have saddam's yellow cake uranium to worry about. Not that we ever did...

Obama took a shit sandwich created by the neocons like Hillary and Bush and somehow found the only way to make it worse. We aren't less involved, we are less engaged and that's allowed ISIS to form up and flourish. His hyped up pullout from Iraq has been a disaster that compounded Bush's original disaster. He invalidated the sacrifices our military made there by doing that and I hope history is unkind to both he and his predecessor.

If there ever was a perfect example of the proverbial head in the sand, this is it.

Barry loves him some Muslims.

Think she will be such after she gets elected?
Of course. She didn't push so hard for the Libya disaster to further her presidential campaign*. One of her base beliefs is that US intervention is both effective and desirable in almost every case.

*Because: 1. If successful credit would have gone to Obama 2. She already lost one presidential primary because of her hawkishness.
