Facts, despite Biff's denials, are starting to come out.

Question; first, how in the world did they get though Mexico to even get close to our border? Second, I am pretty sure there is an American Embasy in Mexico and I bet there are several Consulate Offices. I would almost bet there are offices across from El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen. Would they be breaking the law to go there? Would they face separation from their children if they go there?

Just interested to know...

You Cannot Apply for Asylum at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate
Asylum is a form of legal protection available to certain people who cannot or would not feel safe if they tried to live in their home country, because of past persecution or the danger of future persecution based on their race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.

Unfortunately, U.S. embassies and consulates cannot process requests for this form of protection because, under U.S. law, asylum seekers can apply only if they are physically present in the United States (or at least at a U.S. border or other point of entry).

There is a common misconception that U.S. embassies and consulates are basically the same as U.S. soil. It is true that international law protects national embassies and consulates from being destroyed, entered, or searched (without permission) by the government of the country where they are located (the host country). However, this does not give those embassies or consulates the full status of being part of their home nation’s territory. Therefore, U.S. law does not consider asylum seekers at U.S. embassies and consulates to be “physically present in the United States” (or at a U.S. border or point of entry).

(or at a U.S. border or point of entry)

Does that mean what I think it means and that would keep them from crossing our border illegally? Would they be arrested and/or separated from their children if they did it at a point of entry?

No. It was stated that if the immigrants go to one of the manned crossing sites and applies for asylum, they are not illegal and thus are not arrested. If you aren't arrested, there is no need to separate you from your children. The separation is due to the committing of the crime of unlawful entry into the US.

Only a nihilistic liberal could think merging with this country is “enrichment” and “progress.”

Only a racist conservative would think that this means every Mexican is engaged in this violence or wants to be around it at all. Many want to come and live here safely and have a job and a home for their children. They’re seeking...asylum.

“Nihilism”

(Gasp) nonresidents pay taxes too - 32.5 cents for every dollar for 0-87,000 dollars. My God! Then we could really do fix some serious domestic shit with all those unfilled jobs across this country. Weird.

.

Try sneaking across Mexico’s southern border, telling their officials and taxpayers you “want” to live and work there, and “only a racist” would have a problem with it.

Any predictions on the “tolerance” you would receive from the Mexican officials and general public?

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Cool. is that from the Constitution?

Fact. Liberals want more voters that are sympathetic to their cause (welfare and universal healthcare for example). That is why they are substantially less bullish on immigration reform than conservatives.
Fact. Liberals want high tax rates on high income earners and low tax rates on low income earners. Imagine today what the rates would be if liberals controlled them without any conservative resistance.

Do you believe there should be a cap on one's income? Does Jeff Bezos make too much money? Should he give some of that money to you?
