Haven't seen that metric. I have seen the welfare usage rates for Latino populations and it would imply that a large portion does live the rest of their life off the government teet.
Please provide some supported numbers that say that the vast majority do not. At some point we have to understand that the US is not responsible for every human on the planet. We are a generous people and help when we can. We have tried to make a difference how many times and failed?

Question; first, how in the world did they get though Mexico to even get close to our border? Second, I am pretty sure there is an American Embasy in Mexico and I bet there are several Consulate Offices. I would almost bet there are offices across from El Paso, Laredo,and McAllen. Would they be breaking the law to go there? Would they face separation from their children if they go there?
