Had a interesting discussion with my step dad today about the situation in Iran. Economy is in shambles, electric service is cut off for two hours every day for everyone, inflation is off the charts (80,000 to one dollars exchange, up from about 73000 to 1 back around Thanksgiving, businesses and manufacturing centers have been forced to close due to energy shortages and the Mullahs are said to be making plans to flee in the event the people rise up and their henchman are unable to quell the rebellion. He said we might see a regime change in Iran within the next three months. Supposedly the people are looking towards one of the Shah's sons to come in and take power. Who knows if this is accurate just something we were talking about but he's been fairly accurate in the past.
