...2...1... FIRE!

Well executed!

Here, go ahead and have the last word. The rest of us are sick of this thread anyway.

Apperently you can get an an MD without knowing the meaning of passive aggressive.

pilt - did the 2 NYPD officers have it coming? Or as some Twitter users are saying that it is "karma". Or as a liberal NY journalist said "the NYPD chickens are coming home to roost".

As far as I can tell the NYPD officers had done nothing to deserve being executed.

Injustice begets violence. If you are outraged by this, do you part and fight for justice.

As far as you can tell? Tell us then, what actions by these two NYPD officers would have warranted them being executed? Your ho hum response is telling.

I bet you can think of a thousand things. Does a lack of epistemological certainty make you uncomfortable?

How do we "fight for justice" Pilt? Join in on the marches encouraging the murder of police officers? Maybe burn down some local businesses after looting? Contribute to your idol Al Sharpton?

Maybe we should encourage these idiots to not break the flippin' law. That and tell the race baiters to STFU and demand that politicians quit fanning the flames. You want injustice? THAT'S the TRUE injustice in all of this.

If you could actual quote politicians fanning the flames this would make sense. Blaming an unjust act on people who are demanding justice is on its face illogical.

I must have missed your posts about how this was caused by politician fanning flames. Or maybe you didn't make such a post because it is ridiculous to blame a murder on rhetoric and not the murderer.

As far as how we fight for justice, we could start with reforms of policing practices. We could demand that police that are accused of abuses go through an actual adversarial justice system. That would be a good start.

Way to dodge the question pinhead.

Selling loose cigarettes, strong arm robbery.

Clearly, I am mocking the authoritarians in this thread.

Says the person posting Newsmax links.

Here is the Fox News version.

Are you really so dumb that when asked for a quote of a politician fanning the flames you post a quote of a politician blaming another politician for fanning flames without quoting that fanner once?

Pilt why must you act like such a pompus idiot? You're a bigger fool than CUP.

"Too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement," Obama said. "Guilty of walking while black, driving while black, judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness."

Elijah Cummings:
"The administration must quickly establish a national commission to review existing police policies and practices," the letter reads. "And identify the best policies and practices that can prevent more Fergusons and vastly improve policing in communities across the nation."

Yep. Michael Brown had NOTHING to do with it. Poor kid was just out for ice cream.

"We live in a nation that was built on the premise that 'all men are created equal.' Yet when communities of color are targeted by law enforcement, the message we send is one of inequality," "There is no single image of a criminal, and failing to understand that not only puts communities of color in danger - it inhibits law enforcement from stopping and preventing crime."

Nevermind statistics.

di Blasio

"I've had to worry over the years, Chirlane has had to worry: Is Dante safe each night?" de Blasio said Wednesday. "And not just from some of the painful realities of crime and violence in some of our neighborhoods but safe from the very people they want to have faith in as their protectors."

This doesn't fan any flames. It is a true statement. Blaming calls for justice for acts of injustice is on its face illogical.

This is also a true statement, unless you think unarmed people being dead is a desirable outcome. Calling for reform is not the same thing fanning flames.

Statistics like this? Calling for reform is not the same thing fanning flames.

I wonder how much difference a person could make if they "fought" for justice by becoming a police officer.

Depends on if they acted justly.

I'm guessing the number of people who put down their signs and stop chanting and apply for the job are going to be somewhere near zero.

I wonder how many people who are against IRS abuses apply to become tax auditors.

What do we want?

Dead tax auditors.

When do we want 'em?

NOW!

You just don't hear that sort of thing much.

I wonder how many people who are against beheadings join ISIS?

Slightly tangential. Not sure it deserved the sarcasm I detect, though.

They are all stupid scenarios. Think hard about the common thread.

Joining an institution is not always the best way to reform it.
