Election predictions

Is this another Trump failure? If he couldn't drain the GOP swamp how could he ever beat the deep state? So sad.
Failure? While Trump didn't drain the swamp he did do a good job outting it for everyone to see. Of course Democrat voters don't have an issue with government abusing its power provided the abuse is used on political opponents.

It’s funny to me how easily people get manipulated by a narrative. She’s a life long republican. Only changed parties to challenge Stitt. I wasn’t a big fan of her before and that’s not really changed, but we have to stop aligning with D’s and R’s at all cost. I just don’t see how now having a D behind her name changes her beliefs.

If she has been a "republican" all her life why not wait 4-more years & run when he is term limited? She is the worst of all things in politics, an opportunist.

This is her statement on schools "Stitt pushes private school vouchers. Vouchers are a rural school killer, and would harm every public school student in the state." Not one thing about teacher accountability/or neutering the unions. Hey there are some rural school districts that vouchers might harm, but how? How about addressing the administrator/teacher ratio

This is from an older article "The population of LeFlore County in southeastern Oklahoma is less than a tenth of Oklahoma County’s population. Yet LeFlore has 17 school districts compared to Oklahoma County’s 15." Until someone step to the plate to consolidate districts always going ot have a huge amount of waste.

From her website om "Gun Violence," which in & of itself is the dumbest buzzword ever promulgated on the lemmings. "Joy is a gun owner and would protect the 2nd Amendment. She also believes there are ways to promote safer communities through gun safety measures. Joy supports background checks on gun sales, raising the age to purchase a gun to 21 and a three day waiting period between buying a gun and taking it home. Like many Oklahomans, Joy believes we should work together to find common ground to help end gun violence – and is especially focused on preventing gun violence at our schools." She isn't much of a constitutional study because requiring someone to be 21 to buy a weapon is wholly unconstitutional & her administration would spend millions of OK tax dollars trying to defend this nonsense.

Am honestly f'in sick of hear how bad the Indians have it. "Oklahoma’s tribal nations represent a $15 billion impact on our state’s economy. Joy knows that a prosperous future for all Oklahomans depends on a shared understanding of sovereignty and a deeper partnership with tribal citizens." So exactly what does a "deeper partnership with tribal citizens" look like?

As far as having a "D" behind her name now changes her beliefs, read her issues link. She is pro-life but pro-choice, a stance that completely contradicts the majority wishes of the state. Remember Charlie Crist was an "R" once also & looked at what a pandering, useless POS he has become now.

I agree that the tribalism is killing us, but convictions & beliefs are just that. If they change, especially to challenge someone, for an office that won't have an incumbent in 1,480 ish days reeks of opportunism & I can assure you whatever her "R" street creds are now, she has already sold her soul to the "D" & liberal special interests to get elected.

I'm not a huge Stitt fan either, but his first 4-years are a prime example of what happens when people want to make changes & aren't polished ass sucking professional politicians. Hopefully though his next 4-years are smoother & more productive.

For the rest of the country have no idea what will happen. my guess is you have senate pickups in AZ, NV, & GA. Loss PA unless numbnuts just craps his pants against OZ tomorrow night.

House absolutely no idea. I think you pick up huge numbers though. When you have an "R" up 5-6% in Rhode Island, it is impossible to see how that doesn't translate to huge wins across the country in other blue, purple & red races. There are a lot of hidden conservative voters who won't participate in polls, put signs in their yards, stickers on their cars etc. They will come out in droves!

Think with governors which is hugely important, you see further gains across the US for the good guys. I want to see Kari Lake win big in AZ.

I agree with your comment about aligning with D’s and r’s at all cost. Could she not challenge stitt with an r behind her name? Imo when someone changes parties the vague, high level beliefs may not change but how they get there will change or they won’t be in politics long. I haven’t really seen any good reason to vote for her, mainly a bunch of “stitts a jerk” stuff and we’ve seen how an election like that plays out. if anyone has reasons why she’d be a better governor than stitt I’m all ears.

-If she were actualy a Republican while she held her office, she would have just challenged him in the Primary. She has never been a Republican, it was simply a means to an end.

-She has never been pro rural education. She has been pro union, and will definitely not upset the union, and may even prop it up. She has had years to fix the teacher issue in OK which could be solved by taking a look at the hiring process and getting innovative and focus on your needs. These are solvable problems if we stop doing the same crap year after year and look for different solutions like District consolidation and vouchers.

-Deeper partnerships equal millions in campaign funds, and political favors from the governor. The tribes would be better served being their own sovereign nations, instead of getting involved state politics.

I would highly agree on the tribalism, but as long as the democrats are socialists, I'm out and will vote anything other than D. If the democrats returned to the opposition party, I would consider them, but they have moved so far left, I don't think they can be saved. Until both parties move to the center at the same time you will see continued tribalism, with each afraid of what the other will do, we are two separate Americas right now. That being said, I just don't see that happening.

This is a red boy election. The blue boys are going to be upset. I’m sure the reds take both houses of Congress. Then the fun games will really begin.
