It makes me ponder a question. How do obscure programs rise to be great programs like they have become, while we dwell in mediocrity. The answer can easily be that we don't have a good coach. That's a given. We don't recruit well enough. Given. But there is something deeper. Holder is single handedly destroying everything that that has been built for our athletic programs. Great coaches don't necessarily make good athletic directors. You need a C.E.O. type guy to run a multi-million dollar franchise, which is what a major athletic department is these days.
