I’m sure I’ll get negatived Nancyed for starting a new thread but I really think this is getting lost in all the Kavanaugh noise. When someone can bring an allegation against someone without evidence of any kind going back 30+ years and not suffer blowback for it we have crossed a very fine line in this country. Our country was founded with this principle solely due to it not being upheld in England. We saw it once before in the Salem witch trials and see how that turned out. Now something may have happened to this women but for her to think we will just automatically believe what she says without giving Kavanaugh a chance to defend himself is just plain ludicrous and goes against the very thing that keeps this country one of the most successful republics in history.

"No man of what state or condition he be, shall be put out of his lands or tenements nor taken, nor disinherited, nor put to death, without he be brought to answer by due process of law.

You're speaking common sense. Welcome to the moderate left or right. The modern left will spit at you, though.

I am sorry, I may have missed it. i have been busy lately, but has he been charged with a crime?

“Due Process”???

He’s applying for a freaking job!!!
Okay. The next time you apply for a job I’ll show up at the interview and make an accusation, without any evidence to back up of course, that you showed me your wee-wee at kindergarten and see how the rest of your day goes.

Yes that above statement it ludicrous, crazy, unbelievable. Exactly how this last week has been.

Make sure you write a letter to the Washington Post and take a polygraph administered by a former FBI agent to verify your claims first...

Oh you didn’t do any of that...

“Exactly” the same lol

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Well that's all the proof anyone needs. Case closed. Why haven't you Trumpanzees used that brilliant strategy to get Biff out of the White House?

"Verify your claims..." bwaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

If the interviewer is a reasonable and intelligent person they could look at that accusation and see if it has merit, is supported with evidence, and come to his/her own conclusion about the validity of the accusation. "Due process" as you used it in your thread title makes it seem as though these are legal proceedings. A job interview is not a legal proceeding and the interviewee has no rights to "due process". Now when the person being accused brings a defamation lawsuit the defendant would have a right to due process.

And this thinking right here is why this country needs common sense people to stand up. If you really believe this is only because he “applied for a job” then I guess you can go on living in the dream world you currently reside in. And yes he has every right to due process even in this kangaroo court we have being played out in the media.

Really good theater and TV would be for Kavanaugh's attorney, or himself, to serve Ballsy Ford with a defamation suit immediately after she testifies...assuming she does.
