When UT eventually defeated Boston College 3-2 in the 2009 NCAA Regional it set the record for both innings (25) and time elapsed (7 hrs. 3 minutes).
The Cowboys' 6-3 victory Friday night/Saturday morning went 6:51--longest ever for OSU and second longest uninterrupted baseball game in history before Corey Hassel ended the affair with his epic 3-run dinger!!!
