It occurs to me that the MAGA movement has effectively replaced the establishment of the Republican Party (with the exception of the war hawk NeoCons and the war hawk Israelis), and with the implosion of the establishment of the Democrat Party opening the doors wide for the Progressive wing to waltz in and take control (provided it can find an effective leader), we are at last actually left with the choice we’ve been told for years by the rivaling parties to make: quasi-fascist big government MAGA vs socialist big-government Progressives. Thomas Jefferson et al must be tumbling over in their graves.
