About Trump’s double cave on his tariff cowardice? I couldn’t find anything, which seems strange since he made it clear he is Tariff Man and, in his words, he doesn’t give a fu_k what happens, he’s imposing tariffs and that’s that. What happened to Tariff Man’s backbone? I thought by now Fox News would have come out with the MAGA spin that Trump’s cowardice has been part of the plan all along, and even though it looks like “losing” it’s really “winning.” Has the MAGA spin dropped yet? I would have thought Fox would be leading with it.

I saw where tariffs were put on hold while negotiations are taking place. Of course, you’ve always been the low guy on the totem pole, so you wouldn’t know anything about negotiations at the executive level. So just continue to warm the bench until your wife gives you some chores to do. SMH.

He portrays those who buckle under to his bullying as losers and cowards. I think it is relevant to point out his cowardice in the face of economic reality punching him right on the nose. What do you suppose the Apple CEO said to him to get him buckle like a coward and protect the billionaire class from his onerous tariffs?

At the very worst (which is far from bad) Trump’s style of governing is analogous to Mike Leach’s style of coaching (no accident that the two were friends). Leach would call plays just to see how the defense would react, or just to make the DBs run an extra wind sprint, all the while making adjustments. And before you start criticizing Leach, keep in mind that he was a well respected coach, an offensive genius, and left every program where he ever coached (especially OU), in a better state than he found it.

I have as much credibility with you as you have with me. We can leave it at that. I understand Trump’s tariff fiasco is the first time you’ve seen him weak and it has shaken you, you didn’t think he could ever make a mistake. I suspect this might be the point at which the “winning streak” takes a turn and we start to see some “losing” mixed in. I read somewhere, I don’t remember where, that a coterie of Republicans have told DJT he has until next February to clean up his messes or he’s liable to see massive losses in the next election, and they don’t intend to be among them.
