Devin Nunes

Its stupid, but given how quick Twitter has been to ban things from the right, it does make for an interesting legal case. If nothing else, it may drive the question from a few days ago up the stack a little faster: About whether these major tech communication companies should have the right as private corps to censor its users as it sees fit, and to what degree they are responsible for the content they host.

So it's crazy and another little slice of history. Now the Nunes effect has replaced the Streisand effect. He went from 7,500 followers to over 400k (more than Nunes) after the case was filed. His twitter account is hilarious but couldn't possibly have gotten anything near those numbers without the frivolous case.

This thread delivers.

What is he thinking? I hope they don't file a dispositive motion until they depose him. Imagine trying to reign in the scope of that deposition. It would be an hour and a half just over the secret intel report that he hurriedly ran (back) to the White House after his presser. He's gonna be the cliche of the litigious fool for the next 50 years.

These people live in their own reality.
