Former lawmaker calls for complete 'rebrand' of 'toxic' Democratic Party

Former Democratic lawmaker Tim Ryan said Saturday that the Democratic Party needed a complete rebrand and agued a lot of it was "toxic."

I find this very interesting. They think the answer to wining elections is to hide their beliefs with different messaging. SMFH

That was the same thing they said after Hillary lost. It wasn't that the party had issues, its that they simply failed to message their successes to the American people. What will interesting to me is what their message is in 2028. The past 3 elections, their dey message has been the exact same: "We aren't Trump." Not a specific policy or proposal. Just "Trump is (choose your '-ist' label here). Fascist, Racist, Sexist, etc.

Trump won't be running in 2028. Will Dems have more of their own message, or will it just be a continuation with "Vance is (fill in the blank)-ist"?
