I am tempted to go back to the Florida board and remind LizardGrad that I told him years ago that the democratic party wouldn't have another election after 2024.
I am not persuaded that Trump has designs on becoming a dictator. I thought he was about an average president the first time through and I doubt he’ll be much better this time around. What I *am* persuaded is the Trump faithful on this board have a faith in him that is manic, and if he does make a move to become a dictator they will support him right up to the point where it’s too late to stop him.

I 100% agree with you Dan. I don't know if this bothers you or not (being in agreement with me), but you are absolutely right with this statement. It is what I and others (many who have since given up and left) have be saying for years on this board.
I honestly don't know why you haven't figured out yet that Trump has every design on being a dictator, if allowed. But ok, you aren't there yet. I get it. You don't want to believe that the authoritarian sickness has come to our country. But it has.

He is going to eliminate income tax, and fund the government via tariffs as we did in the late 19th century when we had no debt and had a surplus. AKA The Gilded Age, the strongest period our economy has ever enjoyed.
He's going to deport up to 15 million criminals, just as Bill Clinton did in the 1990s. This will result in a significant reduction in crime and an increase in jobs for legal citizens.
He's going to fully fund a border wall, as democrats like obama, schumer and pelosi supported up till 2009.
He's going to unleash RFK to get toxic chemicals out of our food supply so all Americans, but especially children, live healthier lives.
He's going to empower Matt Gaetz to prosecute all criminals within the government.
Hes going to empower Elon and Vivek to eliminate all waste in government. Elon has promised to remove at east two trillion a year in wasteful government spending.
The end result is all Americans will be healthier, wealthier, and safer.
Anyone that puts their country first over their politics loves Trump's plan.
