Cowboy RTC and the next quad

In a different way, he is like Gilman, tends to speak his mind and ruffle feathers. He even said so on Flo. He doesn’t like having to answer to someone.

They really screwed the pooch hiring Bozo over Askren. He would have had the brains to fundraise.

Meanwhile, bozo just let his scholarships get reduced.

I remember thinking “Wow, he’s gonna have them as contenders in the next few years” when they announced his move to Wisco. Just shows how much I know about wrestling, because outside of Seth Gross his tenure has been a wet fart

Poster on InterMat says Keck is coming to Stillwater, here's his post: A pretty reliable insider at Panthernation.com (hilariously bad site in terms of functionality) has stated that Keck to the Cowboy RTC is a done deal, basically. Roper was the reason Keck stayed at UNI the entire time

If true, I hope they cleared it with Zahid

Why would they do that? An RTC should absolutely want multiple guys at each weight. It doesn’t lessen the quality Zahid would be getting in any way. Has zero effect on Zahid.

Nick Lee and Zain were at the same weight. So was Nolf and Dake. So was DT and AB.
Because communication and transparency with your guys is important to keeping a cohesive group.

The rules were likely set when DT took over so Zahid knows the rules. He shouldn’t be surprised or alarmed. They wouldn’t have the same coach, wrestle each other, or even be able to witness the other practicing.

It was 100% professional. AB was too immature to understand why DT wouldn’t train with him so he got his feeling hurt and threw fits
No, the NLWC rules are well known after the fiasco they had like 10 years ago. You don't train with potential competitors. It was personal. I was told that AB thought DT's "camp" is the one who leaked the positive drug test.

That type of situation is what AB cited for having beef with DT. After the 2023 freestyle season, AB was still complimentary of DT and it sounded like they were cool. Then after the 2024 trials, AB said he was salty that DT didn't want to train with him anymore.

AB = Aaron Brooks @Beagle23

I never saw him say that, but if he did, then he wasn't paying attention. He was salty after the Trials for personal reasons from my understanding.

Below is a Google-translated passage from an article about Rin's U20 JOC win. He also was given the Best Athlete Award (the tournament's OW, which includes both freestyle and greco).

The 2025 JOC Junior Olympic Cup U20 All Japan Championships (men only) was held on April 26th at the Yokohama Budokan in Kanagawa Prefecture, where Sakamoto Rin (CWC) , winner of last year's Emperor's Cup All Japan Championships , won the men's freestyle 57kg class, his second victory after winning the 61kg class in 2023. He was also awarded the JOC Cup, which is given to the best athlete in both styles.

I don’t know if it was said on here but I listened to the latest Basch and the Brain from Saturday and Willie said there’s more and more traction of Keckeisen coming to Oklahoma State.
Alyson Schwab laughed at the rumors and basically inferred it was nonsense. We will see.
