I posted earlier this month about the debacle that tickets for the NCAA's ended up being. My wife and I looked several places and with several teams and were not able to find tickets without paying a huge mark up. With the flight and accommodations paid for months ago, it really looked like we were going to miss watching. I understand that there is a scalper market, I am just not willing to get my hopes up or make plans based on it. In a last ditch, desperation upper body throw with 10 seconds left and down by five, I emailed everyone within the athletic department. I wanted them to know that I thought it was pretty sad that.
1. They didn't notify those who were not getting tickets sooner than a few weeks before.
2. I wasn't right that some people were allowed to purchase more the limit of 2 that was stated on the order form.
I heard back within 15 minutes from one of the coaches and he sold me two of his tickets. We are overwhelmed at his kindness!
