If this could happen what a lineup it will be= Kindig 141, Collica 149 and Marsteller 157. has this ship already sailed? John and Eric after reading it saying "Wow I could of had a V8". lol

Why would Kindig drop to 141 now when it would have possibly won us a national championship two years ago.

I'm just thinking outside of the box, maybe because it will be a stronger team. Also Josh is a different person now. It is also something to talk about until Lindenwood.

OB, that was last year when Kindig was in the finals after several of the seeded wrestlers on his side of the bracket were upset. Not taking anything away from Josh but if you could have viewed the size difference in the match against SDSU it showed that Josh is a small 149 pounder. There are several wrestlers at his weight like Houdashelt where he will look undersized. I have no idea if Josh can make 141 but he will struggle this year at 149 due to his being undersized. Collica has gotten a lot bigger since last year but he is small for a 157 pounder. He has a lot of ability but he was definitely out-horsed yesterday by Pack.

Oberebo, I was talking about two years ago when Kindig redshirted. After JO went up to 149 we were not competitive enough at 141 and there was a lot of discussion about Kindig wrestling at 141. If he is in a different place now and is willing to drop that would be great. I have zero inside information but I imagine John is quite aware of what we need.

I think Mike was just posing the question about possibility. Kindig is a much more mature wrestler than he was two years ago. That being said, I am not sure he could make the cut or if he did, could be effective. I think Kindig is a very good wrestler but wrestlers at this weight on average are bigger than he is and this puts him at a disadvantage. I am also not up on whether Kindig even certified at 141 which if he did not would make the whole question moot.
