Just wow, wow at both of these posts implying that illegal immigrants coming to our borders by their own choice are comparable to Jews in a concentration camp or internment camps for the Japanese. Shame on y’all

Having been to Birkenau and Auschwitz last year, anyone trying to compare the facilities and conditions on our southern border to German concentration camps is a flat out idiot, same with those trying to defend the comment. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves but I suspect you don't feel any shame.
according to who...you? i don't think she clarified any of that or knew the difference to do so. Oh wait, what phase of a concentration camp was she referring to. There's no "fine print" on this dumb ass comparison. For you to even lamely try to justify her ignorance says way too much. Well, no, it fits.
they used these people in so many ways...performed brain surgery with no anesthesia. They took pictures of it. More gruesome than anything imaginable. The people slept in wooden file cabinets...there would be a column of probably 6 tall and they would each have their own drawer to sleep in. german soldiers, I should say kids, would be up in the lookout tower in each corner of the facility with machine guns and rifles and they would just pick people off in the yard whenever they felt like it. They had a intricate barbed wire fence surrounding the facility, then a water canal, another barbed wire fence, and then one more fence. Some would try to escape but they were easy targets as it took so long to get through that mess. There are pictures of all this that you won't find in Wikipedia or the encyclopedia Britannica showing all this. Germans took pictures of everything and they are all on display at the camp. They even tested people to see how much electricity they could withstand before being electrocuted. Then, the trip to the ovens I'm sure was a pleasant experience. The ones that didn't make it to the ovens just got mass buried with about another 100 or so. What I'm asking now is that what is happening at the border??? She's a dumbass and has no clue what she's talking about or the consequences of it. I want her off my planet.

Purkey: basketball player? What? Let me tell you about Michael Jordan the basketball player I know of. He was amazing. Averaged 36 points one season. Could jump jump out of the gym. Won multiple MVPs. Led his team to 6 NBA championships in 8 years. As he aged and his athleticism waned he developed a lethal back to the basket game. There is no comparison to Myles Turner.

Did you know detention centers are designed to detain people? Most people can figure it out just by the name. If the border facilities make you clutch pearls, do not google "prisons."
