lol the Dems wanted him in there to nail Trump and he might ruin Clinton and Obama. Way to funny.
I'm multi-tasking. Did I hear Comey had a friend leak his memo? Why in the world are people leaking...unless there is a bladder issue.
Comey leaking his own memos. That's odd and I find it even odder that he admitted it. Is there any legality questions there? Are private conversations with the President allowed to be "leaked" in the manner that he did it?
Comey is a disgruntled employee. He's butt hurt about not being able to have a farewell party.
I can understand being disgruntled. That's the problem with his testimony...he comes across as disgruntled. People will see his testimony they way they want to see it.

What he shared was not classified information. It was his own version of a shared conversation. What he did is no different than if an individual has his lawyer answer questions about something he was involved with, or if an individual has a family member stand up and answer questions in his stead.
It is silly to accuse him of being a "leaker".
In all fairness, he did piss down his leg on the Hillary investigation.

Private conversations between the President and the Director of the FBI may fall under different rules than you and your laundry cleaner.

Well now according to yahoo he was fired because of the Russian investigation. They just keep spinning like a washing machine.
So we have months and months of investigation paid by the tax-payers to find some fault with Trump's actions. On top of that we have literally hundreds of reporters privately scurrying to find fault with Trump's actions. And what do we have ...a Grand Canyon of vacuum air.
Comey testified directly that Trump did not tell him to stop the investigation. Testimony should have ended then. The libs argument is over.

The levers of "politics" are their strategy. No Zone Read, Route Tree Progression, etc...no, its Identity Subgrouping, Virtue Signaling, Misinformation, Leaking, etc....

Comey clearly said that Russia interfered with the election and that the entire U.S. intelligence community agrees with that line of thinking.
He also stated that it is clear that the Russians were focused on helping Trump.
Beyond those two points is where we get into partisan screaming, yelling, whining and bitching on both side of the aisle.
The libs stance is that the Russians interfered, Trump benefited, Flynn, Manafort (and maybe others) had some shady relationships with powerful Russians. It only makes sense to find out if anyone was aware of what the Russians were doing and working with them in any way. That does not mean that the libs think that Trump was the mastermind, or that they are convinced that he knew anything about what was going on behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, the conservative stance is that the damn libs have no evidence that Trump was involved with any kind of Russian interference and that this is all a witch hunt dreamed up by the liberals and the media.
But, this is not an investigation of Trump. This is an investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election and whether or not any American was complicit, helping them, or working with them.
Oh no! The complete lack of evidence is all the evidence they need to keep investigating.
Reread my post. I started it, got interrupted and came back to it. I meant to add that some liberals are screaming and crying that Trump masterminded the whole thing and needs to be impeached.
You're being several degrees too kind to "libs" in your description. Sure, there are some reasonable libs (like yourself?) that aren't emotionally invested in the boogeyman narrative, but look around and tell me that a not insignificant chunk of the Left isnt gung ho on taking down Trump if at all possible...while another large chunk of the left cheers on the first group all while wearing blinders.
That's fair.
But, really no different than members of the right constantly blathering about how there is nothing to see here and that this is all a huge waste of time.
