The Fan out of Columbus is excellent sports radio. Most of the hosts are smart and very well-connected to Ohio State and national writers (The Fan is the anti-Sports Animal and 100x better). Anyhow, they were talking realignment about a hour ago and talking about adding Stanford and Cal to the B1G due to their stellar academics and very good athletic programs. One of the hosts said “you do that and then you go to ND and tell them it is now or never. Then if you get ND you go and get Oklahoma State.” Blew my mind because this is the first time I’ve heard any B1G-associated personality mention OSU and also because they wouldn’t mention us unless someone Ohio State-related had mentioned it to one of them. Thought it was very interesting.
