During the 2020 insanity I made a list of the 5 guys I thought could be replacements for Gundy. I came up with the following, in no particular order
Neal Brown - was winning at Troy got the West Virginia job and has since been pretty bad
Dave Aranda - Got Baylor and is a pretty good adversary...
Mike Norvell - Got Florida St and is slowly building something there. Slower start than I expected
Brent Venables - at the time was the hottest DC in the country. I thought he was mad at OU. If he was, he's really showing them now.
Billy Napier - Has since gotten the Florida job. He's doing ok I guess
I guess it's probably good that I'm not on the search committee whenever it goes down.
